This tutorial covers the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just before Thotar gives you a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of three taming rods, each differs and enables you tame beasts in the subsequent order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Component of the Quest chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot within the Valley of taming rod surf crawler Honor so as to unlock your companion pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; Source and Beast Training.
